LOOK OUT FOR YOUR CHANCE TO PARTICIPATE IN 2015
Mohammad-Rakibul-Hasan - climate victim
CATEGORY: GLOBAL VISIONARY
WINNER: Mr. Mohammad Hasan, Bangladesh
PROJECT: The name of the project is “Salt” – it is a documentary photography project on climate change, adaptation and migration from the coastline areas of Bangladesh. I have been shooting this since year 2010.  The project is still ongoing because of its nature, as I want it to shoot visual changes of the effect of climate.  If I receive the funding I will be able to revisit remote areas of coastal belt to document it further.  The picture was taken at Gabura Union, Satkhira, Bangladesh on 11th May 2011.
Lola Lopez - children in Palestine
CATEGORY: UN CHANGE AGENT
WINNER: Ms. Lola Lopez
PROJECT: Post conflict reconstruction process in Gaza, through support to UNRWA, the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East.  I believe that my purpose in this world is to contribute to justice and peace. I believe all children should have the right to a home, education, health and a citizenship.  This photograph was taken in a Palestinian Refugee Camp in South Lebanon in 2011. I wonder if they’re still smiling.  I wonder if they’re still alive.  I wonder if they’ll ever return home to a peaceful Palestine.
